Qurban 2015 Delievered
Since 2013, the Australian Relief Organisation has organised qurban projects in a number of African and Asian countries. This campaign is crucial in a world where more than 1 billion people live under extreme poverty. Globally a staggering 18,000 children die each day as a result of poverty. Many deaths of children under 5 years of age are due to malnutrition among the poor. In many underdeveloped parts of the world, most families cannot afford to provide daily sustenance to their children, yet alone fresh meat.
As a relief to this alarming humanitarian crisis, we have responded with our qurban project. With our qurban projects, tens of thousands of families were provided with meat donations in Kenya, Ghana, Senegal, Gambia, Madagascar, Sri Lanka, Cambodia and Laos.
