HELP 12 GIRLS IN THE PHILIPPINES PURSUE THEIR DREAMS

During the past Ramadan, a team of 16 ARO volunteers carried out a range of humanitarian activities in the Philippines cities of Manila and Zamboanga. These included visits to orphanages, iftar programs, food parcel distributions and financial assistance for students and families in need.
For our distributions in Zamboanga, we were supported by the staff of Tolerance School, an educational institution that has been serving the community since 1997. Tolerance School has received a special award from the United Nations and has achieved numerous national and international successes.
The school has now expressed its desire to admit 12 new scholarship students and has asked for our support. The students will be selected through an entrance examination from financially disadvantaged families living in Zamboanga and the surrounding islands. Tolerance School will provide them with free education.
As the ARO Melbourne Volunteer Ladies Group, we would like to cover the students' boarding, meals, school supplies, and uniform expenses. The annual cost to support one student is AUD $1,500.
You can make a meaningful difference by sponsoring a student for a full year or by contributing any amount you wish. Every donation will help provide girls with access to quality education and a brighter future.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and for supporting the education of these young girls.
