On 26 August 2026, flash floods devastated Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts on the Nepal-Tibet border, killing dozens and leaving hundreds still missing. Thousands of families have been left homeless, cut off from clean water, food, and basic hygiene supplies.
Australian Relief Organisation is working with local partners on the ground to deliver emergency food packages and hygiene kits to affected families — critical support as flood-hit communities face rising health risks.
