The Shabir Raza Water Well Project

We are bringing together our school community, friends, families and the wider community to honour the memory of our beloved Year 12 student, Syed Shabir Raza, who sadly passed away recently. We are fundraising to build a water well in his memory as an act of Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity), providing clean drinking water to those in need. Through this initiative, we hope to turn our grief into a lasting legacy of kindness, compassion and hope. Every contribution, big or small, will make a difference. Insha’Allah, may this well continue to benefit others and be a source of ongoing reward for Shabir.

In Loving Memory

Syed Shabir Raza was a much-loved member of our Year 12 cohort. His passing has deeply affected our students, staff and families, and we wanted to find a way to remember him that would make a real difference in the world.

The Shabir Raza Water Well Project

Funds raised will go towards building a well that provides clean, safe drinking water to a community in need. Access to clean water improves health, education and daily life for families who would otherwise go without.

Why a Water Well?

In Islam, providing clean water is one of the most meaningful forms of Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity), because its benefits continue for years to come. Every drop this well provides will reflect the kindness and compassion Shabir’s memory inspires in us.
